SECURITY CONDITIONS
1/ You are responsible for our scooters and therefore you are required to respect the rules and safety instructions that the guide communicates to you.
2/ On a scooter, you are considered a pedestrian below 6 km/h. Therefore, except for temporary authorization to occupy the public road, you are subject, like any pedestrian, to the following particular obligations :
- drive on sidewalks.
- respect the traffic lights and the highway code.
- use the protected passages (cycle path and sidewalk)
3/ Wearing closed shoes is mandatory (sportswear recommended).
4/ The helmet is mandatory and provided by TROTT'ÉVASION. Anyone wishing to do the course without respecting this rule will be prohibited from renting. Other equipment is available: protective glasses, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves.
5/ The use of scooters is personal, it is strictly forbidden to be on the vehicle. -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
6/ The guide will observe the group during a 5-minute instruction and then take the lead of the peloton. It is strictly forbidden to overtake the accompanying person.
7/ The speed of the scooters is adjustable (from 5 to 25 km/h) but the speed of the excursion is imposed by the guide.
8/ It is forbidden to overtake during excursions or even to be side by side with another scooter (indeed, obstacles are often avoidable by changing trajectory).
9/ Safety distances of 5m and 10m downhill are mandatory. Brake so as not to lock the wheels for better braking efficiency.
10/ When riding, focus your gaze far ahead, avoid looking at the wheel of the person in front of you or the immediate obstacle.
11/ Slow down gradually with both brakes simultaneously so as not to lock the wheels, skidding is prohibited: an extra charge of €15 will be applied if a skid is deliberate.
12/ Listen to the advice of the accompanying person on the positions to adopt during the ride. Keep both hands on the handlebars.
13/ To turn and indicate the direction, the guide will make a sign with his leg:
- To turn left: the attendant will lift the leg on the left side.
- To turn right: the attendant will lift the leg on the right side.
14/ The guide will signal aloud the obstacles during the course, we ask you to relay the information transmitted (example: a branch in the middle of the course "Attention branch").
15/ During the ride, we may come across riders. In this case, we must give priority to the horses: the guide will give the signal to stop and restart the ride.
16/ In municipalities with a strong pastoral activity, the use of sheepdogs is essential for the surveillance and protection of the herd. Our presence may intrigue them and they may adopt guarding behavior. In this case, it is essential to remain calm and not to make sudden movements. Your companion knows how to act, so listen to him and everything will be fine.
HEALTH PROTOCOL
Following the health crisis affecting our country, the company TROTT'ÉVASION is implementing a health protocol in order to preserve the health of all its participants. This procedure will apply as long as necessary, it is in addition to the health process already in place before this COVID-19 epidemic.
It should be remembered that:
- The activity offered by TROTT'ÉVASION takes place outdoors.
- We accompany a maximum of 8 people on a walk.
- Our outfits and equipment provided for the activity are cleaned and disinfected after each service.
- The reception takes place in the open air but the distances of the barrier gestures are systematically reminded to our customers.
- Wearing a general public mask is compulsory to exchange and converse.
- A hydro-alcoholic solution is sprayed on the hands of our customers as soon as they arrive.
- The gloves we provide for the activity are insulated at the end of each service and washed at 60° at the end of the day. As far as possible we ask our customers to come with their personal cycling gloves.
- Helmets, goggles, high-visibility armbands and backpacks are disinfected after each use with EN 14 476 standard cleaner provided for this purpose.
- On our scooters, a systematic cleaning of the various contact points (handlebars, brakes, trigger, connectors and speed selector) is carried out with a suitable solution (EN 14 476 standards) after each return to the stand.
- During the activity, the distances between each client are at least 3 m, when we stop for our explanations a distance of at least 1 m between each person is respected (it is for everyone's safety).
- For payment of services, a contactless payment solution is in place (payment terminal or PayPal). Other means of payment are still accepted.

Access to the activity
Access to the activity is with or without reservation, the current rates are displayed visibly at the reception stand and the practitioner undertakes to pay all services due BEFORE the start of the walk. All participants must be accompanied by a SASU TROTT'ÉVASION supervisor.
Quotes are valid for 3 months. If accepted, a 30% deposit must be paid. Any reservation cancellation must be notified at least 48 hours in advance: otherwise the deposit cannot be returned.
The activity is possible from 8 to 12 years old on JUNIOR scooters and under the responsibility of an adult exclusively in the Grand Pré de Saint Vallier de Thiey.
The rides are accessible from 12 years old on "ADULT" scooters if the participant's size and autonomy allow it, the minimum recommended height being 1m40.
The maximum recommended weight for using the scooter in good conditions is 100 kg. Beyond this weight, the practitioner becomes fully aware that the performance of the scooters will be reduced, especially in the event of a strong elevation gain.
The guide reserves the right to refuse a practitioner if he considers that he is not able to pilot the scooter in good conditions for reasons of size or autonomy . In the absence of the presence of the parents, minors must be accompanied by an adult, the latter will have full responsibility. Helmets, gloves and reflective devices are provided by SASU TROTT'ÉVASION. Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Other protections are available (elbow pads, knee pads, goggles and integral rain protection). Only the SASU TROTT'ÉVASION reserves the right to cancel the activity in the event of bad weather conditions. The activity is not suitable for pregnant women (shaking and risk of falling).
The practitioner(s) declare: to be in good physical health and to have no contraindications to the practice of the activity. Not be under the influence of any medicinal product or narcotic, drug or alcohol, which may harm his vigilance or likely to modify his behavior.
In case of false declaration SASU TROTT'ÉVASION disclaims all liability.
In the event of non-compliance with the instructions or poor behavior of one or more practitioners, the SASU TROTT'ÉVASION reserves the right to interrupt the hike at any time without reimbursement.
Practitioners must have read and signed the documents relating to the activity. (General rental conditions, security conditions, discharge).

Insurance

SASU TROTT'ÉVASION is insured for professional civil liability. The participant acknowledges that he is personally covered by "Civil Liability" insurance. In the event of an accident, damage to others, property or to a third party, for cases attributable to SASU TROTT'ÉVASION, the latter's liability is limited exclusively to the coverage provided for by his insurance company. La SASU TROTT'ÉVASION declines all responsibility in the event of theft, bodily injury or material damage. No claim or appeal will be brought against SASU TROTT'ÉVASION.

Security
All participants acknowledge that the practice of the all-terrain electric scooter is an activity that presents risks of falls, which can lead to injury, and they accept all the consequences.
The SASU TROTT'ÉVASION cannot be held responsible for accidents that may occur during the activity, in the event of non-compliance with the instructions or voluntary damage: all repair costs will be borne by the practitioner according to the rates. in force of the catalog of the company GLOBE 3T. No prosecution can be considered on the part of practitioners or their beneficiaries.
Practitioners therefore undertake to respect the instructions, recommendations and safety instructions given by the accompanying person.
For security reasons and in case of disputes, the activity will be filmed by the guide.

Instructions for use​​
Always adapt your speed to different situations. Slow down or stop if you come across a pedestrian, cyclist, rider or animal. The speed must not exceed 25km/h on the public road, you must respect the highway code and keep a distance of approximately 5m from the scooter in front of you. Under no circumstances should one of the members of the group overtake the accompanying person.
Do not throw anything on the public highway. In addition to wearing a helmet (compulsory) and gloves, an outfit suitable for hiking is recommended (Closed shoes compulsory), on difficult portions (stones , rocks, roots…) do not hesitate to dismount.
